What if Iā€™m not flexible?

Yoga is about creating a safe space for your body to experience the edge of comfortable discomfort, wherever that may be. Your body is a living being that changes every day. Giving it the time and space to explore and expand is all you really need to do! Go slow, and honour whatever is it that you feel is right for you today.

Will I get a good workout?

Yoga is unique in that the practitioners are invited to go inwards. If your intention is to build up a sweat, get a good cardio workout and build muscular strength and endurance, we can definitely build a class to suit that! If your intention is to move slower, gain flexibility, or relieve tension in the body, we can do that too. Ultimately this is your class, and we can purpose it to your needs and goals!

For a lot of us, our minds tend to dictate our attention, while our bodies follow. In yoga, we join breath to movement to still the mind, so that you can listen in to what your body really needs.
